Monique McLaughlin

After eight years of industry experience as a Mechanical Engineer, Monique progressed her career in the domain of Biomechanics where she completed her master’s at the University of Roehampton. Her research focus was on “The effect of speed on leg stiffness and joint kinetics in control limbs and intact limbs of unilateral trans-tibial amputees.”

“I have always been intrigued with the architecture of the human body. I do believe it is the ultimate machine. It is mind-boggling that the limit of human potential is ever reaching, this I find an exciting prospect.

Working at Delsys opens up and explores the secrets of unlocking human potential on a neural level. Armed with this knowledge we are able to improve training protocols, rehabilitation techniques, prosthetic control, and gain a richer understanding of degenerative diseases.
