Dr. Stepp brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Altec team, having spent over a decade applying engineering principles to speech and motor control research. As a long-time user of EMG technology, Dr. Stepp has been instrumental in using EMG to further our understanding of motor behavior during speech, and to provide rehabilitation solutions for communication disorders.
Altec is eager to welcome Dr. Stepp to the team, as she will provide a unique perspective to further our research interests and developments in wearable technology for subvocal communication.
