Liam Walton

Liam completed his undergraduate degree in Applied Sport and Exercise Science at Northumbria University before specialising in sports biomechanics through a Master’s at Loughborough University. He has always been passionate about sports performance and, through his expertise in biomechanics, has worked with elite athletes in both triathlon and its individual disciplines separately. Liam spent 5 years working in wearable technology, validating metrics against the gold standard to ensure the highest level of accuracy and the highest quality experience was provided to elite and recreational users, all aiming to improve performance and reduce injury risk.

“I have always been fascinated by the ability to improve human performance through sport science support, and the possibilities to do this when monitoring the human body using wearable technology are endless. This is what drew me to Delsys, the variety of potential applications that EMG has across multiple areas is something I find incredibly exciting and I’m looking forward to helping you achieve your research goals through the power of Delsys technologies.

If you would like to connect with me, please reach out through email, Twitter, LinkedIn or book a meeting with me directly on Calendly.”My interests originate from the innovative technological advancements applied within the medical industry. What intrigued me to Delsys Europe was its effective use of wireless devices, miniaturized electronics, and signal processing techniques to assess muscular bio-signals.”
